Anne Armstrong of Keller, Texas, had four large bins containing a family photo collection dating back to the 1870s, and ranging in all shapes and sizes.
Ms. Armstrong told us, “My wonderful mother left me with several thousand photos. She was a very talented and dedicated photographer. In moving, these photos had gotten thrown in boxes. I tried to scan them myself. I tried to take them to some of the big-box businesses you would recognize, but this was overwhelming for anybody. I had everything from teeny-tiny photos to several really long ones. Some were big, some were in frames. I had no idea what to do. So, I did some research online. I wanted someone local. I did not trust sending these photographs in any way through the mail. I wanted to be able to talk to the person doing the work and get their help. I didn’t want to spend time and money to get something I didn’t like.”
Ms. Armstrong said she is “super-pleased” with the results and how quickly Doorstep Digital got it done. She said reviewing her well-organized photo collection is “so much fun.” She was very happy that Jack Perry, Doorstep Digital’s founder and owner, took the time to show her how to organize her folders and photo titles to meet her needs. “Before now, photos were always overwhelming, time-consuming, and messy.”
